I love my wife, but we’ve been married for six years and we still haven’t had sex

DEAR DEIDRE: MY wife is good-looking, has a great sense of humour and a heart of pure gold. But we haven’t had sex after being married for six years.

I’m 57 and she’s 55. I met her six months after my first wife died in a road accident.

It was a wonderful marriage and our sex life was loving and fun. I do understand it’s a lot to live up to.

My new wife is great and I do know how lucky I am. We do cuddles and petting but never full sex.

She said that would change but it never has. I love her to bits but I have to admit I’m very frustrated.

DEIDRE SAYS: There may be a physical cause or does she fear she won’t be as good as your first wife in bed?

Make sure she knows she is your present and future, and not second-best.
