CORONATION Street fans are wondering why the Rosamund Street Medical Centre is normally so busy – given their phone isn’t even plugged in.
Viewers couldn’t stop laughing when they noticed the apparent gaffe during tonight’s episode of the popular ITV soap.
Fans spotted the error when Liz McDonald was telling off Moira Pollock for looking up Carla Connor’s age after her affair with her nephew, hunky doctor, Ali was outed.
As the con the conversation went on, viewers spotted the phone on the reception desk wasn’t plugged in.
On tweeted: “What’s happened to the cable?
“Don’t look like the surgery will have any calls tonight. Lol. #nophonecable #cable #nocalls!”
Elsewhere in tonight’s episode, Rana Nazir has been fooled by her mother in heading back to Pakistan.
Rana was inconsolable when her mum said her aunt was dying and that she was flying out to see her.
She insisted she go along too and was seen rushing around the street telling everyone where she was going.
Speaking to her lover Kate Connor, Rana promised her that when she was back they would start their new life together.
She also promised she wouldn't be away for more than two weeks.

But during the dying minutes of the soap, Rana’s mum could be seen making a phone call in her car.
Speaking quietly, she told the person on the other end of the phone how Rana had no idea the ticket was only one way and that she wouldn’t be returning home.
Will Rana realise it’s a trap before it’s too late? Or will her mum successfully steal her away to Pakistan for good?
