Coronation Street spoilers: Toyah Battersby ends stepson Simon Barlow’s blackmail attempts with a plan for Eva Price

TOYAH Battersby shuts down the blackmail campaign her step-son slash nephew Simon Barlow has had against her in Coronation Street next week when the tearaway teenager pushes her too far.
Sneaky Simon, played by Alex Bain in the ITV soap, begins to wind Toyah, Georgia Taylor, up in front of Peter but she manages to cover in front of her partner but remains worried that Simon will blab her secret.
But when she spots the schoolboy and his friend Tyler bunking off school in the pub back room, Toyah realises it’s time she told Peter the truth and nipped Simon’s bad behaviour in the bud.
Instead of telling Peter the whole truth about Eva’s secret pregnancy though, Toyah risks calling Simon’s bluff.
She tells Peter that she paid for Eva’s course in America and that his son has been blackmailing her since he overheard them talking about it.
Simon, who has no idea of what the real deal with Eva was, finds himself out-manoeuvred by Toyah and he’s simmering with anger when he realises he no longer has any power over her.

Meanwhile, a furious Peter grounds Simon for trying to blackmail Toyah, while she desperately pleads with him not to be led astray by bad influence Tyler.
It looks like Toyah and Eva have managed to keep the baby secret under wraps for now.
But with the tot’s biological father, Aidan Connor, acting bizarrely how much longer will they be able to keep it quiet?
